WELCOME HOME

It is hard to believe that after 19 months of serving the people of Hungary we are finally going home. We left Budapest on the afternoon of August 23rd. We flew to Amsterdam and then on to Atlanta. We missed our flight out of Atlanta so the airline put us up in a hotel for the night.  It was actually a good thing.  We enjoyed a good night rest and then when we arrived at the airport in the morning we were greeted by about 25 young missionaries that were going home as well  They had been serving in the Chili and Argentina missions.  It was great to arrive at the SLC airport and be greeted by about a couple hundred family members of those missionaries. We felt special even though our family was not there.  Our plan was that we were to arrive home at midnight and so we told them to stay home and we would see them in the morning.

Arriving in the SLC airport greeted by 200 hundred missionary welcomers (none of our family but that is ok)

Happy to be Home!
