We enjoyed a wonderful General Conference weekend. Because of the eight hour time difference our conference didn'tt start until 6 PM Saturday evening. We finished up our Senior Conference in Budapest in the morning and then headed back to Eger to prepare for Kriszti's baptism which was held before the conference session started. We do not have a font in Eger so we rented the swimming pool at the St. Istvan Hotel not too far from the church. We had about 17 members and missionaries that attended. This was a great spiritual experience and we were so happy that Kriszti chose to take this important step in her life. She will be a strength to the Eger Branch.

Kristzi, Sister Peterson and Gabi outside the Szént Istvan Hotel where Kriszti was baptized. We rented the pool for this occasion. |

Our Eger elders, Elder Seamons, Elder Larson and Elder Bradshaw and of course Kriszsti. |

These are all those who came to support Krisztis baptism. |

Congratulations to Kriszti's for taking this very important step in her life. |
"Now I say unto you that ye must repent, and be born again: for the Spirit saith if ye are not born again ye cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven; therefore come and be baptized unto repentance, that ye maybe washed from your sins, that ye may have faith on the Lamb of God, who taketh away the sins of the world, who is mighty to save and to cleanse from all unrighteousness." (Alma 7:14)
We enjoyed a wonderful General Conference. Such inspirational talks that we can use in our lives to help us know God's will for each of us. It is always hard to see conference come to a close. It was wonderful to hear from our dear prophet, Thomas S Monson. What a blessing to know that we have a prophet to guide us in these latter days. Elder Holland closed the conference in such a powerful way and gave us these words of encouragement,
"Keep loving. Keep trying. keep trusting. Keep believing. keep growing. Heaven is cheering you on today, tomorrow, and forever."
"Please remember tomorrow, and all the days after that, that the Lord blesses those who want to improve, who accept the need for commandments and try to keep them, who cherish Christlike virtues and strive to the best of their ability to acquire them. If you stumble in that pursuit, so does everyone; the Savior is there to help you keep going. " (Elder Jeffrey Holland)
We are so grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ, for his perfect life and for His infinite sacrifice for each one of us. We are grateful for our Heavenly Fathers plan of happiness so that if we are faithful we will live forever with our families.
